Dodgers Outfield Prospects Reign Supreme in MLB Prospect Rankings

The Los Angeles Dodgers keep setting the standard in baseball’s player development scene. The latest round of prospect rankings just hammers that point home.

This offseason, three of the most respected outlets—Baseball America, Baseball Prospectus, and FanGraphs—put out their updated Dodgers prospect lists. Sure, they had minor differences in the order, but the main takeaway? The Dodgers are stacked with young, athletic talent, especially in the outfield.

Consensus Stars Leading the Dodgers Farm System

At the top, there’s almost eerie agreement. Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope, Eduardo Quintero, and Mike Sirota made up the consensus top four across all three publications.

That kind of unanimity doesn’t happen much and says a lot about both the upside and track records of these guys. De Paula and Hope are already pretty familiar to prospect watchers. Both outfielders showed up on MLB-wide top-100 lists last season.

They’re widely expected to land on those rankings again in 2026. Their mix of plate discipline, athleticism, and projectable power fits right in with the Dodgers’ modern development philosophy.

Eduardo Quintero’s Rapid Rise

If anyone really took a leap this year, it was Eduardo Quintero. Heading into his age-20 season, Quintero grabbed the California League MVP award in 2025 after putting up a .293/.415/.508 slash line with 19 home runs.

He split time across two Class-A levels and finished with a strong 152 wRC+, which shows a pretty advanced bat for his age. Baseball America went especially high on Quintero, ranking him No. 1 in the Dodgers system.

BA analyst Josh Norris pointed out Quintero’s all-around skill set and his real shot to stick in center field. He’s still working on his swing and adding strength, but there’s plenty to like. Quintero doesn’t have a single standout 70-grade tool, but his profile is full of steady 55s—honestly, that makes him one of the safest high-upside bets in the organization.

Different Rankings, Same Conclusion

The top four prospects stayed the same, though the order shifted a bit depending on the outlet. Baseball Prospectus and FanGraphs both put Josue De Paula at No. 1, with Hope and Quintero right behind.

Baseball America, meanwhile, gave Quintero the top spot and slotted Sirota third. Those differences mostly come down to each outlet’s style and what they value, not real disagreement. Either way, everyone sees these four as the core of the Dodgers’ next big push.

Mike Sirota and Key Supporting Prospects

Acquired from Cincinnati in the Gavin Lux trade, Mike Sirota might be the most intriguing wild card in the group. Before a season-ending knee injury in July, Sirota dominated Class-A pitching.

He’ll turn 23 in June. Right now, health seems like a bigger question than his ability.

Beyond the elite quartet, the Dodgers’ depth stands out. Shortstop Emil Morales, infielder Alex Freeland, and outfielder Charles Davalan all landed as consensus top-10 system prospects across the three outlets.

Their inclusion shows the organization’s balance of positional talent and athletic versatility. It’s easy to see why scouts keep coming back to this farm system.

Seventeen different players showed up in at least one outlet’s top-10 Dodgers prospects list. That kind of variation really highlights how deep and young the system is.

For an organization that competes every year in the majors, keeping this kind of pipeline says a lot about their scouting and player development. It’s honestly impressive, maybe even a bit surprising just how well they keep the cupboard stocked.
